Qualifications

Technical Proficiency
You possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, and industry standards. Familiarity with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and other compliance requirements is a must.

Collaboration is key. You thrive in a team environment, working closely with Project Managers, Foremen, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Problem-Solving Skills
You have a knack for identifying issues and developing practical solutions. Your ability to think critically and adapt quickly sets you apart.

Effective Communication
You can communicate complex technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment among all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Support

  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
  • Provide technical support to field teams, ensuring they have the information and resources needed to execute tasks effectively.

Material Management

  • Prepare and track material requisitions, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
  • Verify material submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and consistency with project plans.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain and update project documents, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Create and distribute progress reports, keeping stakeholders informed of project status and milestones.

Budget and Cost Tracking

  • Support the Project Manager in monitoring project budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track and document project expenses to ensure alignment with financial objectives.

Change Management

  • Assist in tracking and documenting change orders, ensuring timely submission and approval.
  • Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders and ensure seamless integration into project workflows.

Coordination and Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between the office, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate with General Contractors (GCs), utility companies, and other project participants.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all project activities comply with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a culture of safety and quality throughout all phases of the project.

Closeout Process

  • Support the closeout process by preparing as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation.
  • Assist in completing punch list items and ensuring client satisfaction.

Disqualifications

  • Lack of Initiative: This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution. If you are not driven to take ownership of your responsibilities, this position may not be a fit.
  • Poor Communication: Collaboration and clarity are critical in this role. If you struggle with communicating effectively, it could hinder project success.
  • Inexperience with Electrical Systems: While we value a willingness to learn, this role requires a foundational understanding of electrical systems and project workflows.
